STIRLING CAN DO BETTER

Please click here to view the 2012 Scottish Conservative manifesto for Stirling

On the 3rd May you will have the opportunity to decide who will best represent your interests at Stirling Council. Amongst other things, Stirling Council is responsible for your schools, your road network, waste collection, planning, social care and housing. These are services which affect your everyday life, and these are services that you pay for as a tax payer.

The Scottish Conservative Group on Stirling Council continues to focus on delivering the best front-line services that it can, for the limited resources that it has. This means that your taxes are spent on services that really matter, effectively and efficiently.

Our recently launched local manifesto for Stirling outlines the key areas where we pledge to make improvements to the services that we deliver. A local manifesto for local people, designed to meet the needs of Stirling residents.

Residents of Dunblane and Bridge of Allan offered strong support for me and the Scottish Conservatives at the last Stirling Council elections. In fact, more people in Dunblane and Bridge of Allan voted Scottish Conservatives as their number 1 first preference choice than any other party in the ward.

I have served as the Scottish Conservative Councillor for Dunblane and Bridge of Allan for the last five years, and feel proud to have done so.  Over that period, we have achieved plenty. But we can do better.

I look forward to your continued support on May 3rd...
